Hi! I'm Mollie, owner of Life Works Counseling. I have been providing therapy for individuals and families for the past 10 years, utilizing many different modalities with many different organizations. My main modalities for therapy are EMDR, CBT and Solution Focused Brief Therapy.
I am new to Georgia. While I grew up down the road in SC, I spent the last 19 years out in Colorado. When I'm not working, I am exploring the area, working on being present with my loved ones, being active, doting on my 2 dogs or binging our favorite shows (The Voice) with my husband.
How Can I Help?
I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and EMDR trained. If you have or are currently experiencing anxiety, grief or loss or have had life events that you can't seem to catch your breath from, I would love the chance to talk to you about these and see if I would be a good fit to help you learn how to navigate them. I have also worked is the field of Multi-Systemic Therapy, helping to empower parents to establish a healthy hierarchy in the family system when things are feeling out of control.

To support this, my practice operates on a hybrid model: I accept select insurance networks for residents of Georgia, and offer competitive private-pay options with Out-of-Network reimbursement support for clients across both Georgia and Colorado.

Colorado Clients: Telehealth & Private Pay
As a fully licensed LMFT in the state of Colorado, I provide 100% virtual telehealth sessions to CO residents.

Billing Structure: All independent Colorado services are strictly Private Pay / Out-of-Network at a flat rate of $120.00 individual/ $140 couples per session.

Insurance Reimbursement: To help maximize your benefits, I provide an automated monthly Superbill through my secure client portal. Many out-of-state PPO insurance plans will reimburse you directly for a portion of these sessions
Georgia Clients: Insurance & Fees

In-Network: I am currently working towards becoming in-network with Anthem BCBS of Georgia and Cigna. (Note: Please verify your specific copay or deductible with your member portal prior to our first session).

Out-of-Network / Private Pay: If you hold a different insurance plan, my standard session fee is $120.00/ $140 couples. I am happy to provide you with an automated monthly Superbill (an itemized receipt) that you can submit to your insurance company for potential out-of-network reimbursement.
What is a Superbill?
A Superbill is a specialized, itemized receipt that contains all the medical codes and provider information your insurance company needs to process a claim.

If you are a Colorado client or a Georgia client using out-of-network insurance, the process is simple:

Pay at Session: You pay my standard $120.00 flat rate at the time of our session using a secure card on file.

Receive Your Document: At the end of the month, my secure SimplePractice client portal will automatically generate a Superbill for you.

Submit for Reimbursement: You upload that document directly to your insurance company’s online portal. Depending on your plan's out-of-network benefits, your insurance company may mail a check directly to you to reimburse a portion of that $120.00 fee.

How do I know if my insurance will reimburse me?
Every insurance plan is completely different. Before our first session, I highly recommend calling the member services number on the back of your insurance card and asking them these exact questions:
